Most people think of money when they hear the word investing. Today, we going to look at investing through a different lens.
What does it mean to invest?
Most people think of the stock market, their 401k, and real estate when they hear the word invest. Although those are forms of investing. I want to talk about investing from another angle. Yes, we can put money into vehicles like stocks, bonds, etc. to allow our money to grow and yes, there is value in doing such things.
But I'm not here to talk to you about that type of investment. To invest is to put money, energy, and/or time into something for future benefits and advantages. That's what it means to invest.
Should I invest?

It depends. Do you care about your future? If the answer is "yes" then my answer to you is yes.
Okay, what should I invest in?
Yourself. The most valuable investment I've ever made was in myself.

I'm constantly investing in myself. I've learned to work harder on myself than I do at my job. I invest money into myself. I spend money on books and courses. I spend time on learning and gaining skills. I spend energy exercising. These are all investments that I make on myself and I'm starting to see the returns on my investments.
I wasn't always like this. At one point, I was homeless, and I spent all my time, energy, and money on drugs. But now I'm gaining skills, I'm growing, I'm becoming more mature, and I'm building a better future for myself and my family.
I'm the best investment I've ever had and I'm worth every penny... and so are you!
